A Court of Books & Everything

Listening to music is one of the great ways to enjoy reading a book. So it means that I have a playlist for each book. The idea just usually pops out of nowhere. I always condition myself to be in the world with the characters whenever I listen to the music so I would know if it's the right track for the playlist. First thing that I do when I'm building my book playlist is find a suitable music. That kind of music with so much feels. Like example, I'll hear a song somewhere and know that it's the right track for my playlist. It can be something dark, whimsical, classical or modern day music.

Since I'm into A Court of Thorns and Roses (synopsis: when nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin—one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world.) right now, here is the content of my playlist for this book.

"The space between your heart and mine, is the space we'll find with time."

The Spaces in Between by Leng de Chavez (shirlengtearjerky) is one of the most awaited novel in wattpad. The novel received a 6M views from the site and won numerous awards from the wattpad community.

Scheherazade Pascual is your typical studious slash adventurous girl. She is studying in UP Diliman, living the normal life of a student. Until one valentine's day, the famous actor Andreau Cortez went to the coffee shop where she works, asking for a favor for his thesis film. Everything is inevitable. From strangers to best friends to lovers? Is it possible?

*warning: spoilers*

This book is written in Taglish. For me, there are more substance in this novel than the other international novels that I've read. This is not your typical chick romance novel, this is not your typical strangers turn lovers. Zade and Dreau's friendship doesn't start right away. Dreau ask Zade's help to go to San Ignacio, which is Zade's province, so that he can film there. Since Dreau is an actor, it's not easy for them to be friends right away. But when they became close, all of the people around them ship them as a couple because they are meant for each other but the two is very in denial of their feelings for each other. Their relationship is something that people want in their life. The pace is slow and they risked their friendship but they know that every risk is worth it.

Hey guys! First of all, thank you for stopping by. I'm glad that you stumbled upon my very beautiful blog about books. So, today I'm going to tour you in my bookshelves. As of today, I have more or less 150 books. I honestly haven't reach half of my collections because I'm kind of busy at school but I'm trying to finish a book per week. During my vacation, I usually list down some titles per week and that's how dedicated I am.

I occasionally arrange my shelves based on the authors or sometimes based on the colors or maybe genre or by series. It depends on my mood because I always want my bookshelves to look wonderful in my eyes. I don't want anyone in our household to touch anything inside the bookshelves because I always hide something inside the books, e.g. money. I sometimes memorize the arrangement of my books so that I'll know if someone touch or borrow a book.

In this part of my bookshelf, it's composed of self-published books from amazing authors here in the Philippines. I currently have a fascination with self-published books because even though they're kind of expensive, the books will satisfy you in all aspect.
